 Given \: N = 98, \\Median \:class = 89.5 - 99.5 ,\\Lower \: boundary \: of \: median \:class (l) = 89.5 \\Size\:of \:the \:class (h) = 10 , \\Frequency \:of \: median \:class (f) = 30, \\Cumulative \: frequency (c.f) = 40

 \boxed { \pink { Median= l + \Big(\frac{\frac{N}{2} - c.f}{f}\Big) \times h }}

 \implies m = 89.5 + \Big( \frac{\frac{98}{2} - 40}{30} \Big) \times 10 \\= 89.5 + \frac{ 49 - 40 }{3} \\= 89.5 + \frac{9}{3} \\= 89.5 + 3 \\= 92.5

Therefore.,

 \red{ Median } \green {= 92.5 }
