Solution:-

Given:-

  • Polynomial :- ( x³ + 3x² - 6x + 6)
  • Divident :- ( x - 1)

To Find:-

  • Remainder :- ?

Find:-

x-1 = 0

=) x = 1

P(x) = x³ + 3x² - 6x + 6

=) P(1) = 1³ + 3(1)² -6 + 6

=) = 1 + 3

=) = 4.

Hence,

Remainder is 4.
