Here x = 1, 2,3,4,5

So

R = {(2,2) (3,5) (4,10 (5,17) (6,37) }

So the required number of elements in R is 5

PROCESS 2 ::

Here x = 1, 2,3,4,5

So the number of choices for x is 5

So the required number of elements in R is 5
