We depend on trees for our survival. The oxygen of the air that we breathe is released by trees. Trees are home to many animals and birds. Trees offer us shade when it is hot. But despite our dependence on trees, we are continuing to cut them down. This is one of the reasons for global warming.

Without trees rainfall decreases and cultivation becomes impossible and there will be food scarcity. Many trees have medicinal values. Trees reduce air and noise pollution. Trees also add beauty to our surroundings. Let us stop felling trees and plant more trees.
