Actually, brain CAN control multi organs and other things at the same time. It's because, not even you can control your entire brain yourself. There are parts of the brain that functions and controls things of the body on it's own. If you could control your heartbeat, people could suicide very easily by just commanding their brain to stop their heart from beating.

Now, HOW exactly it controls so many things together, only almighty knows because he has given the human brain, the power to do so.
