It was Pakistan's first one day international win against any team. England batted first and scored 244 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 50 overs. Pakistan scored 246 runs for the loss of 3 wicket with 43 balls remaining to register their first ever win in an ODI match. Pakistan won by 7 wickets. David Lloyd made 116 not out from England side and Majid Khan made brilliant 109 and was declared Player of The Match. It was a 55 over match but reduced to 50 overs.
