Pakistan registered their first win in an one day international cricket match against England on 31st August 1974 at Trent Bridge Nottingham. It was Pakistan's first one day international win against any team. England batted first and scored 244 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 50 overs. Pakistan scored 246 runs for the loss of 3 wicket with 43 balls remaining to register their first ever win in an ODI match. Pakistan won by 7 wickets. David Lloyd made 116 not out from England side and Majid Khan made brilliant 109 and was declared Player of The Match. It was a 55 over match but reduced to 50 overs.

Pakistan won their first match on ODI in the year August 1974. They won against England. The match was held in Nottingham, Trent Bridge. Before that, Pakistan had played their first match in 1973. They played against New Zealand and New Zealand won the match. The match was played in New Zealand at a place called the Christchurch. PGC
