The village school was located near the green paddy fields of a little village, called Shonarpur. As the
bell rang, Sonali and her friends rushed to their classrooms. Soon the teacher entered the classroom
and started a new lesson in Hindi. The students took out their books. They were eager to start the new
lesson, because it would be a new story too! But Sonali was not listening to the Hindi lesson. She was
looking outside at the green fields and blue skies. It was a beautiful day and she wished she could fly
out of the classroom, invisible to everybody!
