Let’s say 60 mL of tomato sauce is mixed with 100 mL of chilli sauce to make some hot-and-sour soup. What is the ratio of the amounts of tomato sauce and chilli sauce in this case? Now, if 150 mL of chilli sauce is to be used for making some more soup with the same taste, what amount of tomato sauce should be mixed with it? What is the ratio of the amounts of tomato sauce and chilli sauce in this case?

Answer: 26000%

Step-by-step explanation:

tomato sauce = 60ml

chilli sauce = 100ml

total is 160ml in ratio= 16000%

now we have chilli sauce = 150ml

tomato sauce is needed = as seen above if we have chilli sauce 100ml so 40ml less tomato sauce is needed.

= now we have 150ml chilli sauce - 40ml = 110ml tomato sauce

150+110= 260ml

260ml in ratio =   26000%
