It was a cold winter morning. I was late to get out of my bed. When I got ready for the school, it was already past eight. Our school starts at 8 a.m. I did not take my breakfast. I rushed to the school. When I reached school, there was complete silence. The morning assembly was already over. The classes had started. I was in a great confusion. I thought I would get punishment. I stood at the door of my classroom. I did not know what to do; the class teacher looked at me angrily. Everybody was watching me. I was ashamed for coming late. I apologized to the teacher and she allowed me to join the class. I made up my mind to be punctual in future.
