Solution :-

Today's temperature = 7 degrees Celsius

yesterday's temperature = 13 degrees cooler

13 degrees cooler means that yesterday the temperature was 13 degrees Celsius less than today's temperature.

So, yesterday's temperature = 7 - (13)

⇒ 7 - 13

= - 6

So, yesterday's temperature was - 6 degrees Celsius.

Answer.

Temperature today = 7

Yesterday's temperature was 13° cooler

⇒ take away 13° from the temperature today

Find yesterday's temperature:

7 - 13 = -6

Answer: Yesterday was -6°C
