Let the domain of x be the set {1}. Which of the following functions are equal to 1

(1) f(x) = (x)^2
, g(x) = x
(2) f(a) = x, g(x) = 1–x

(3) f(x) = (x)^2
+ x + 2, g(x)=(x+1)2

Step-by-step explanation:

Domain of f(x) is −1≤x≤4

Given , g(x)=4−3f(x−2)

Here , −1≤x−2≤4

⇒1≤x≤6

So, domain of g(x) is [1,6]. a=1,b=6

Range of f(x) is 1≤f(x)≤10

⇒1≤f(x−2)≤10

⇒3≤3f(x−2)≤30

⇒−30≤−3f(x−2)≤−3

⇒−26≤4−3f(x−2)≤1

So,c=−26,d=1
