Let the resistance of an electrical component remains constant while the potential difference across the two ends of the component decreases to half of its former value. what charge will occur in the current through it ?

it will be halved as same number must divide the current which divided the potential difference

♤ We know that

I = V/R

If V' = V/2

I' = V'/R

= V/2R

= 1/2

Therefore , the current will also become half of its previous value.
