let the resistance of an electrical component remains constant while the potential difference across the two ends of compont decreases to half of its former value. what change will occur in the current through it ?

current also half because potential difference ( V) is directly proportional to (I) current so current increase so potential difference also increase

♤ We know that

I = V/R

If V' = V/2

I' = V'/R

= V/2R

= 1/2

Therefore , the current will also become half of its previous value.
