Let the resistance of an electrical component remains constant while the potential difference across the two ends of the component decreases to/half of its former value .What change will occur in the current throughit?

the current will become half as well as I=V/R if r is constant I =V

♤ We know that

I = V/R

If V' = V/2

I' = V'/R

= V/2R

= 1/2

Therefore , the current will also become half of its previous value.
