If set A is {1,2,3} and set B {2,3,4} then the intersection A and B will be of common elements in both of the sets.

Let the intersection set of A & B be C

So set C = {2,3}

\sf\huge\bold{Answer:}

Given :

A = {1,2,3}

B ={2,3,4}

To find :

A∩B. [A intersection B]

Solution :

The intersection of two sets is a subset that gives the common values from both sets.

A = {1,2,3}

B ={2,3,4}

Common values in A and B = 2,3

\huge\mathrm\red{A∩B  {}}

= {2,3}

Let's Know More:-

  • There are 4 operations on sets.
  1. Union
  2. Intersection
  3. Difference
  4. Complement

  • The universal set is the set containing all objects or elements and of which all other sets are subsets.

  • The complement of a universal set is an empty set U′ = ϕ.

  • The complement of an empty set is a universal set ϕ′ = U.
