 \large\bf\underline {To \: find:-}

  • we need to find :-
  • (i) A∩C
  • (ii) ( B∪ C)∩ A
  • (iii) U ∩ B
  • (iv) ( A∩ B)∪ C
  • (v) ( A∪ U )

 \large\bf\underline{Given:-}

  • ∪ = { 1 ,2 , 3 ,4 ,5 ,6 , 7 }
  • A = { 2 ,4 ,6 }
  • B = { 3 ,5 }
  • C = { 1, 2, 4 ,7 }

 \huge\bf\underline{Solution:-}

(i) A∩C

  • A = { 2 ,4 , 6 }
  • C = { 1 ,2 ,4 ,7 }

➛ A∩C = { 2, 4 }

(ii) (B ∪ C)∩ A

  • B = { 3 ,5 }
  • A = { 2 ,4 ,6}
  • C = { 1 ,2 ,4 7}

➛ (B ∪ C) = { 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,7 }

➛ (B ∪ C)∩ A = { 2 ,4 }

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

(iii) U ∩ B

  • U = { 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,7 }
  • B = { 3 ,5 }

➛ U ∩ B = { 3 , 5 }

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

(iv) (A ∩ B)∪ C

  • A = { 2 ,4 ,6 }
  • B = { 3 ,5 }
  • C = { 1 ,2 4 ,7 }

➛ (A ∩ B) = { }

➛ (A ∩ B)∪ C = { }

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

(v) (A ∪ U)

  • U = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7}
  • A = {2, 4, 6}

➛ (A ∪ U) = { 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,7 }
