Let us consider the following chemical changes H², +CI²,
→ 2HCI
In the above chemical change, two atoms of Hydrogen combine with 2 atoms of Chlorine to
form 2 molecules of Hydrogen Chloride. Explain the formation of Hydrogen Chloride according
to the Law of Conservation of Mass, if the atomic weight of Hydrogen is 1 and the atomic
weight of Chlorine is 35.5.
