Answer:

F1= ma

10 = 2*a

a1 = 10/2=5 m/s^2

F2 = ma

2 = 2*a

a2 = 2/2=1m/s^2

Acceleration = a1 -a2

A = 5-2=3 m /s^2

AnswEr:

Acceleration will be 4 m/s²

FiguRe:

\setlength{\unitlength}{1mm}\begin{picture}(5,5)\put(18,7){$\tt{10N(F_1)}$} \put(-11,7){$\tt{2N(F_2)}$}\put(2,5){\vector(-1,0){16}}\put(17,5){\vector(3,0){16}}\put(7,4){$\tt{2kg}$}\put(17,1){\line(0,2){8}}\put(2,1){\line(0,2){8}} \put(2,9){\line(7,0){15}}\put(2,1){\line(7,0){15}}\end{picture}

SoluTion:

We know that,

\sf{\vec{F}_{net} = m \vec{a}}

\longrightarrow \sf{\vec{F}_{net} = (10 - 2)\:in\:direction\:of\:F_1}

\longrightarrow \sf{\vec{F}_{net} = 8 N = m\vec{a}

\longrightarrow \sf{\vec{a} = \dfrac{8}{2}}

\longrightarrow \sf{\vec{a} = 4\:m/s^{2}}

Hence, Acceleration will be 4 m/
