  1. i. Plot the above ordered pairs on the same co-ordinate plane
  2. Draw graphs of the equations.
  3. Note the co-ordinates of the point of intersection of the two graphs. Write solution of these equations
  4. x - y = 1 5x-3=1
  5. The two lines intersect at point (-1, -2). ∴ (x , y) = (-1, -2) is the solution of the given simultaneous equations.
