Let us express the following mathematical problems in the from of quadratic equations with one variable and solve them by applying Sridhara Acharyya's formula or with the help of
Factorisation
Sathi has drawn a right-angled triangle whose length of the hypotenuse is 6cm. more than
the twice of the shortest side. If the length of the third side is 2 cm. less than the length of the
hypotenuse, then by calculating, let us write the lengths of three sides of the right-angled
triangle drawn by Sathi.

Answer:

Hyp = 6 cm + 2x. . . (consider x as the smallest side)

Third side = 2cm

Second side = X cm

Now by using Pythagoras theom

2^2 + x^2. = ( 6 + 2x) ^2

4+x^2 = 36 + 4x^2 + 24x

X^2 - 4x^2 = 36 - 4 + 24x

-3 x^2 = 32 + 24x

3x^2 - 24 x - 32 = 0

Solving this by quadratic formula or Sridharacharya Formula,
