Let us suppose you were standing at the roadside. A car (CAR 1) was moving on
the road. After some time you saw CAR 1 change its position from Point A to
Point B. So the car was said to be in motion.
Suppose there was another car (CAR 2) parked at the roadside. You did not see
any change in its position after some time. Therefore, CAR 2 was not in motion. It
was said to be at rest. The road, the trees or the buildings around you were also
at rest.
Now change all the verbs in the passage from the past tense to the present
tense. Rewrite the passage.

ANSWER:-

Let us suppose you are standing at the roadside. A car (Car - 1) is moving on the road . After some time you have seen Car - 1 change its position from point A to point B. So, the car is said to be in motion. Suppose there is another car (Car - 2) parked at the roadside. You do not see any change in its position after some time. Therefore, Car - 2 is not in motion. It is said to be at rest.

The road , the trees or the buildings around you are also at rest.
