Let us weed out corruption from our society?
Answers
There have been a number of ways by which the government has tried weeding out corruption. From Narendra Modi’s opportunities of getting away by giving 2/3rd black money to government (Income Declaration Scheme) to Arvind Kejriwal’s strict checking, which reduced corruption in Delhi by 81% in just 2 years (as both Modi and Kejriwal are in Delhi only, so Delhi faced the biggest change in terms of corruption).

As for demonetization, it’s kind of controversial. The only advantage was that about ₹11 trillion was recovered. Otherwise,
The stone pelting in Kashmir continues
Fake notes have increased
The cashless economy has lost its momentum (since the work which could have earlier been done with ₹1000 notes is now being done by ₹2000 notes)
Corruption will be on a rise again (since now ₹2000 notes will take up half the space compared to ₹1000 notes, and now people know that the ₹2000 note doesn’t have a chip in it)
We have 2 completely outcast notes compared to the other notes (looks, size, color etc) in the market
₹ value against $ has fallen drastically
Many patients died as they only had ₹1000 and ₹500 notes for their treatment
Many small traders and single screen theaters fell in heavy loss
More than 125 people died of standing in the cold
Opposing the move declared you an anti-national
Most people who had the black money just left it, as life is more important than money, so the money expected wasn’t even recovered
Earlier I had supported the move, because I actually fell for the rumor that the ₹2000 note had a chip in it, but now that I know the truth, I strongly condemn the move. So in my view, it was a failure
