length of the diagonal is equal to 20 root 2

a root 2 =diagonal

a root 2 =20 root 2

diameter is equal to 20 *4 =80 square metre

area equal to 20 * 20 is equal to 400

cost =400*20

=8000

answer: cost of planting grass is equal to 8000

We know, that the length of diagonal of square = L√2 units, where L is the side of square

Diagonal of the square = 20√2m

On comparing,

side of the square land = 20m

Also, we know

Area of square = (side)²

Area of the square land = 20²= 400m²

Cost for 1 m² to plant grass = Rs. 20

Cost for 400m² to plant grass = Rs. 20 × 400 = Rs. 8000
