Let we throw a dice, find the probability of getting, (i) a number less than 3, (ii) an even number, (iii) a multiple of 2, (iv) a prime number​

Answer:

i) Numbers which are even from 1 to 6 = 3

P(Even Numbers) = Favourable Outcomes/ Total Outcomes

P(Even Numbers) = 3/6 = 1/2

ii) Numbers which are multiples of 2 = 3

P(Multiples of 2) = 3/6 = 1/2

iii) Numbers which are prime = 3

P(Prime Numbers) = 3/6 = 1/2
