. Let x, y be the volumes; m, n be the
masses of two metallic cubes P and O
respectively. Each side of Q is two times
that of P and mass of Qis two times that
of P. Let u= m / x and v= n/y. Which

Answer:

u=4v

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula:

   density = mass / volume

1. Out variables in the formula as per the question: x, y be the volumes; m, n be the masses;

   Cube P:     u = m/x

   Cube Q:    v = n/y

2.   (Q side = 2*P side); and (Q mass = 2*P mass); so,

      Since, Volume of cube is (side)(pow 3) hence, Q vol = (2*P)(pow 3), lets say side is x:

                 u = m/x(pow3)

                 v = 2m/8x(pow3)

  so, u/v = (m/x(pow3)) / (2m/8x(pow3))

                 (m/x(pow3)) / (m/4x(pow3))

                 4/1

u/v  = 4/1;

u = 4v     answer
