            The correction for hypermetropic eye is a convex lens,. Hence,the person suffers from hypermetropia.

 we know that,
D= \frac{1}{f}

0.5= \frac{1}{f}

(0.5)f =1
        f = \frac{1}{0.5}
        f=2m,.

    Hence the focal length of the eye lens is 2m,.

          Hope it helps

sivaprasath: wait
ÑÎKPANDYA: Light rays converge on the retina after passing through the lens of your eyebecause it is convex. The image forms upside down on the retina because no object can be closer than the focal point
Pieistasty: Correct thanks

the person is suffering from the hypermetropia or we can say from long sightedness disease.
P=100/f
0.5=100/f
100/0.5=f
200cm=f
hope it will help you
thnks
