Dear Brother:

I hope this letter find you in the best of your health and spirits. I know you must be feeling depressed and sad on account of failure in examinations. Well, I would advise you to keep in mind the precept: ‘Try and try again until you succeed.’ Your failure means you did not work hard.

Well, let the past bury its dead. Focus on future now. I would suggest you to make a time-table to keep a close tab on your study time. If there is any subject that you need special care to take, I would advise you to take coaching from an expert teacher. However, there is no substitute for self-studies and hard work. I hope you are studying very hard. High grades are a must for taking admission in a high-ranking college. Give warm regards to mother, father, and grandparents. Lots of love to you.

know you must be feeling depressed and sad on account of failure in examinations. Well, I would advise you to keep in mind the precept: 'Try and try again until you succeed.

I cannot believe it, but it is the truth. You did not deserve it. I know you worked hard and did not do anything which would result into failure. It is only your bad luck which has played its part.

Now, what cannot be cured must be endured. Failures do come in one’s way. One should not be discouraged, but gather all courage to fight once again. All great people have failed in their efforts many a time but with renewed efforts and renewed will they succeeded the other time and made far better performances.

I hope, you will now be able to get through with far better marks than you expected this time. So it is not an occasion to despair but to see through all the weak points in you and prepare for your next attempt with a better force and surprise all around you with a brilliant success.

Kindly see that your parents do not get discouraged and assure them about your next hopes. They will also encourage you.

You loving friend

Sub: Skyrocketing prices of essential commodities.

Sir:

I write to you to express my deep concern over the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities which making the life of the common people very hard. The Government has failed miserably in its promise of keeping the inflation low. The prices of essential commodities such as pulses, vegetables, cereals, cooking oil, sugar, rice, and petrol, etc. have been rising unrelentingly.

The Government’s all measure to bring the prices down have failed. I just want to ask the concerned ministry and authorities what is happening. The poor are still grinding, and the rich are having a gala luxurious life! Why does the Government not put a reign on inflation? Why the Government PDS is is such a big failure? See the paradox! On one hand we have food grains worth millions of rupees rotting in the FCI godowns,  and on the other hand the poor and the middle classes of our country not getting the food grains and pulses at reasonable price.

Why doe the Government not make these food grains and pulses available to the common people. Once the Government will supply these food items into the market, the prices will automatically go down. Besides the Government needs to act strictly against the hoarding and black-marketing of food items.

Through the columns of your esteemed daily I appeal to the concerned ministry to look into the matter and take steps to alleviate people’s troubles.

We our middle class people we can't afford high prices of essential items/commodities . I hope that our government is aware that what is the impact of rise in prices of essential commodities on poor. The poor people are being deprived of their menial requirements . We forms government so that it will work for the welfare of the people and make our country proud but here our government is not taking any action on such issues. We have to suffer a lot for our basic needs the parents can't afford good education for their children, health facilities etc.

I shall be very thankful if you post this letter in your newspaper and draw attention of our government on such issues

Thank you

Your truly

A concerned citizen
