Dear Rohan:
I hope this letter finds you in good fettle. Well, my semester exams have just ended! I am going to Himachal to let my hair down. Himachal is my favorite haunt. There are so many beautiful places to go to. Even the drive in the mountain is quite thrilling and refreshing. On either side of the serpentine road breathtaking vistas of unmatched sylvan beauty soothed not only the eyes, but the restive soul also. Deep dells, with pure verdant slopes; idyllic, pastoral human settlements, glimpses of the far off white sheep grazing on the slopes of the mountains under the canopy of azure sky are the enthralling views one gets as a gift for coming to this paradise. Just a few days spent in the lap of nature revitalizes my mind, body and spirits. I wish you would join me on one of these excursions to Himachal Pradesh. The rest is fine. Do write to me about your favourite haunt too. Give regards to uncle and aunt.
