Writing a Letter to brother is an Informal letter, as the body of the letter is written in informal language.

But there is format of writing an Informal letter

Dear Brother Raj,

How are you? I hope you will be fine. I am good here. well, I am writing this letter to say all the best for the upcoming marathon. Prepare well for it. Also, look at your diet. Eat nutritious food example nuts are very good for vitamins and minerals, they give you more strength. Do not practice more and you will have muscle pain. I know you will only win.  

You are my champion. Do not forget to take a water bottle. I could not be with you at your competition so I am writing this letter to cheer you. All the best my dear bother.
