My dear bapu,
How are you? I'm fine and hope the same with you.

I'm writing this letter to you to share my experiences I have when i was in college. College life is the most interesting life. It seems like i've been in in college only for few days and i even don't know till now that 4 years of my college were completed. It's just like a dream for me.
College life gives us the best experience in life. It teaches us how to face obstacles and overcome problems. It teaches us the importance of studies and life. In my college life I've experienced many obstacles and faced them.
Let me share with you one of my experience . These days ragging is very common in colleges. When i was in 1st year my seniors used to do ragging. They used to comment and abuse some of my friends. Then I decided to fight against. Then suddenly I remembered your method of fighting that is non-violence. Then taking inspiration of you I decided to end ragging in my college.
Then, I inspired and motivated all my fellow students and together we decided to end ragging. Next day also the seniors did ragging but to their surprise they found all my friends listening to their words and doing everything according to their wish. They were shocked and pleaded them for their mistake. At that time everyone is very thankful to me. I was very happy at that point of time and realised the power of your non-violence. I thanked you soo much and till today there was no ragging in my college.

Thank you so much bapu

Yours lovingly,
Kavya minnie

Hope it helps u..........

A fine good day to you sir. Regards to you.I know you don't like appreciation. But truly speaking you are a truly a inspirer, and father of nation. Rightly said that Not the weapons, not the lives But the peace and non-violence. I am too much inspired on this. Peace is what we lack these days. But you had got the independence to your nation by it, at the times of very cruel britishers. I don't know, if we can't stay calm even if our mother or sister beats us but Your words " If a person slaps, ask him to slap on the other side. " Though these days, humans are selfish, but these words mean a lot to me. I am inspired of you. The non violence to the people who does violence is a great philosophy. The simplicity which matters you liked and showed the complexity in simplicity. You showed us that How simple can a man be. But in these days, Humans are greedy...A person who is walking dreams of going on a bicycle by seeing a bicycle rider, that rider looks at a person who goes in car and wants to go on that. The person in car wishes to fly in a aeroplane. But the aeroplane wished that he was on the ground. This shows even greedy Ness have no limit.

The nationality and patriotism you guided to the whole world is very inspirational. The way you gave a sign to use only khadi clothes is very awesome. Preparing salt by ourselves which you learnt us tells it is better to be independent, and the Way you have lead us to a great country rather than a dependent country. You also showed the world " United - We stand, Divided - We fall ".You also told us " Don't think of how future will be, but worry of the present. Finally I saw that Great people aren't great in their way of dressing and looking, they are indeed great in their thoughts and deeds. Their words and The thoughts which them turn to actions makes them more great! Salute to you bapu ji
