 next week there is a special celebration fr us,pongal, it is  a harvest festival dedicated to the Sun.Thai Pongal is one of the most important festivals celebrated by Tamil peoplein the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, the Indian Union Territory of Puducherry,and the country of Sri Lanka,[8][9][10] as well as Tamils worldwide, including those in Malaysia,Mauritius, South Africa[ the United States, Singapore, Canada Myanmar (Burma) and the UKThai Pongal corresponds to Makara Sankranthi, the harvest festival celebrated throughout India.
