Letter to Bapu Conveying the children's contribution

Respected BAPU,

Pranam

Bapu, we have read in our text books that you were a strong supporter of cleanliness. You had insisted on living cleanly throughout your life and you always took care of cleanliness in your ashram. You also learned to live by rules and discipline. Bapu! There is not much awareness about cleanliness in our country today. We children are very sad to see this when we Indians spread dirt all around. We children do our best to keep the environment around us clean. We also keep our classroom clean, our desk clean and take care of complete cleanliness in our house and in our room. We make every effort to make people around us aware of cleanliness.

Bapu! On October 2 of this year, on your 150th birth anniversary, we want to take a pledge and pay tribute to you. We take a pledge that we will observe the vow of cleanliness throughout our life and make more and more people aware to live cleanly, so that our India becomes a clean India. Become the best India. Become the India of your dreams.

Jai Hind

We children of India
