My respectful bapu,
It has been a long time since I have written a letter to you. How are you and all your family members keeping? How do you find your Post Independent India? I and all my family members are keeping well I find my school life very difficult.
I have written this letter to you to help you in freeing India from plastic. You try to do as many rallys as possible because if you do once they forget and ignore it. Try to make banners and stick it on every places highly polluted with plastics. Sometimes you also do some work so that they get inspired by you.

Dear Bapu Ji:
I hope this letter finds you doing great deeds in heaven. I am writing to you to share my happiness with you. The reason behind this happiness is Indian Government has started a campaign to make India plastic free. You will be immensely happy to know that this campaign will begin on October 2, 2019, which is also the 150th Birth Celebration of yours.
Single plastic use articles have wreaked catastrophic havoc in our country. The water bodies and the aquatic flora and fauna have been affected the most.
A walk along any river, lake, and beach is sufficient to know the consequences of this ubiquitous ugliness floating. Scientists in their recent research have found plastic to be much more toxic than previously expected. Plastic is making our environment highly toxic.
The state of the water bodies in the city is pathetic. The aquatic life has been choked to death. India can be made plastic free only by proper plastic waste management. Plastic waste management plants will have to be installed in all major cities and towns. People will also have to actively take part in this campaign.
I pray to you to inspire all of us to make this campaign a great success. If you were in your physical form, you would have led this campaign and made it successful. That’s all for now. Parnam.
