subject : Water scarcity in ABC colony.
Respected sir
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper I would like to draw the attention of authorities of Ghaziabad about water scarcity in our colony.
In our colony water is supplied for only 10 minutes in the morning and for the same time in the evening. We have to depend on this water and those from tankers for the rest of the day. The taps remain dry even the quality of water supply it is very unhygienic.
Recently there have been many cases of water borne diseases such as typhoid and jaundice. It is feared that they may break out in an epidemic form if the quality of water supplied is not improved. Further, the more purchasing water daily is burning holes in our pockets. The situation is causing immense stress in all respects. Many representations have made to the authorities, but all in vain.
We hope that the concerned authorities will take immediate steps to ensure adequate supply of good quality water. It is suggested that the municipal water corporation should provide us with the connections from the main water line which has been laid hardly 200 m away from this colony.
Thanking you
Yours faithfully
Ida Pandit

To the editor,

Respected sir/madam,
I'm an eager and keen reader of your famous and popular newspaper The Times of India. I like the Sci-tech and city column of your newspaper. I'm a responsible citizen of Rohini in New Delhi and am concerned about the increasing child labour in our locality
Children are the backbone of the future world and the nation would prosper if these children prosper in different field of life and develop the world. Nowadays, many children in the weekly market are seen starving and selling things. The hands to be with a book and a pencil in hands are forced to sell things to small businesses. This is the worst condition of the world. How would the nation develop? Government's policies of providing free education should be followed which is not even known to many poors.
So, I want you to publish my letter or an article based on this problem to eradicate this problem. L hope you will do the needful
Yours faithfully,
Bajrangi
