Sub: Creating awareness towards health and hygiene among rural people
Sir
I Madhav of Mahaveer nagar, Jaipur is writing this letter to draw your attention about creating awareness towards health and hygiene among rural people. These days, people are not paying attention to their sanitation and personal hygiene which is leading to their ill health. Their is a significant downfall in the health of the people.
The various causes of this downfall are using impure water, not eating balanced and nutritious food (especially teenagers), not maintaining cleanliness in the environment, and finally the increasing level of pollution, all this contribute to the increasing illnesses of the people.
Cleanliness is next to godliness, so we, the people must know and learn the proper hygiene practices in order to preserve our health and maintain hygiene. Cleanliness is also regarded as the sign of spiritual growth and also contributes to the country's economy.
So, giving utmost importance to hygiene and health is necessary, and therefore, through the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I would like to appeal to all the people to maintain personal hygiene and create awareness towards health.
I hope you'll publish this letter in your esteemed newspaper in order to make people aware about the current situation.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely
Madhav

Sub: Awareness of basic health and hygiene in Bihar villages
Sir,
Through the column of your esteemed daily, I want to highlight the need for awareness of basic health or hygiene in remote villages in Bihar.
I took part in a medical camp organised by ‘The Lion’s Club’ in a remote village in Bihar. I was shocked to see the pathetic condition of the people living there. I was surprised to know that most of the people have no awareness of basic health or hygiene. They live in primitive and sub-human conditions. There is no arrangement for clean drinking water. The drains are open. They stink and breed mosquitoes, flies and insects. The people frequently suffer from many diseases like malaria, dysentery and TB.
The Club has decided to take up their cause seriously and organise camps in the remote villages. The villagers will be enlightened about the need to maintain proper health and hygiene. There is a plan for opening a small dispensary there. Youngsters will be encouraged to volunteer their service for the noble cause.
yours truly
