Respected editor,

This letter is written to indicate about the harmful effects of junk food. It reduces the life span of a human eventually and thus it must be avoided to a great extent.

We all children love to eat Junk food. Junk food is cheap, tasty and easily available, thus it is very popular. The word 'junk' it self indicates the type of food they are. Junk food is like garbage to our body, which we are consuming by our own.

Junk food has less nutritional value. It must not replace daily meals. Daily meals are prepared in such a way that they have all the nutrients required for our body. Junk food have only fats and cholesterol in them which can turn harmful when taken on daily basis.

Junk foods when consumed, it does not give us energy levels and thus, more food is required to keep the energy balanced. This leads to increase in weight. Junk food can also cause diabetes in the early ages and sleep disorders. Junk food acts as a bane to the society.

Pizzas, burgers and French fries! They might be tempting but can lead to heart disorders, spike in blood sugar, less activeness, dull reflexes, strokes, and clogging of arteries. However, such deadly diseases are not caused by consumption of these foods once in couple of weeks.

Thus, I conclude that Junk food is trash in our body and should not be consumed most of the time. They must be taken in limited accounts to prevent deadly diseases that can carve way to death!
