Subject: Pathetic Condition of Animals Because of Noise Pollution During Diwali
Sir:
I am writing this letter to express my anguish and annoyance over the problems caused by loud noise pollution, especially during the festivals. Crackers cause immense pollution. Not only this pollution is dangerous for human beings, it is exceedingly terrifying for animals. Domestic animals get so terrified that they hide themselves in the safest possible rooms or under beds. I have seen my pet shivering badly during the mad chaos during Diwali.
Through the medium of your reputed daily I appeal to the concerned authorities to look into it and do something in this regard. The general pollution level has already become so critical. Do we need a large scale environmental catastrophe to be careful and wise?
Since animals are totally dependent on us, it is our moral obligation to keep them healthy and safe. I am hopeful you will give enough space to my views in your newspaper. Thanking you.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Rishu
