Subject - Calamitous condition of town after a recent monsoon.
Sir,
Through the column of your estimable newspaper, I'd like to bring the kind notice of the concerned authority towards the surging issue of calamitous condition of town after a recent monsoon.
Monsoon season has come for which people were waiting very impatiently. But very bad to say that monsoon has ruined the condition of our town recently.
Potholes in road are full of water now. Mud can be seen all around. The garbage bins, after getting watered, have become extremely dirty and stinking. Due to heavy rain, electric connection is also stopped. Many tree have collapsed on the roads. All these situations, are creating a lot of inconvenience to the residents.
As solution of these problems, we cannot stop the monsoon but some quick and serious steps can be taken by the concerned authority. Roads should be repaired. The litter and garbage should be properly disposed off. Electric connection must be provided for at least 3 - 4 hours in a day. Broken trees should be removed from the roads.
I hope you would surely give an adequate space to my letter in your esteemed newspaper so as to make concerned authority wary towards the problem.
Your sincerely
