Subject: Misuse of loudspeakers at night.
Respected Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper I would like to highlight the inconvenience caused by the indiscriminate use of loudspeakers (PA System) especially at night. Many individuals and groups are using loudspeakers for their own entertainment or parties, not only during the day but even late into the night.
The use of loudspeakers at high volume is one of the major causes of noise pollution which causes mental irritation and headaches. The inconvenience is experienced by sick people at home or admitted in hospitals. Loudspeakers are a major disturbance to the students who are studying for their exams. It is very difficult for them to concentrate on their studies. I therefore request the general public not to use of loudspeakers at night.
