Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to throw light upon the situation of the second wave of the pandemic COVID-19 in our country. People have turned extremely careless towards COVID appropriate behavior which has been the major cause of an increased number of cases and the situation has reached so out of control that the government has put a deliberate Lockdown again in certain regions.
People are required to understand that the situation is really dreadful. The hospitals are short of beds, oxygen, PPE kits, doctors, medicines, etc. and if such a careless attitude continues and cases rise further, our healthcare system would collapse. Thus, it's high time that we all should take our individual responsibilities of displaying COVID appropriate behavior(staying home unless necessary, wearing masks, washing hands frequently, etc.). We together can only save the nation now.
I request you to publish this in your newspaper so that people can understand their responsibility towards their country.
