Subject : Influence of Friends

Sir

Through the columns of your newspaper, I would like to highlight the importance of friends in the life of a student. We are all aware that friendship is a valuable relationship. It is a form of companionship which establishes bonding between two friends. It helps them in reducing stress as friends share problems with each other. Friendship boosts happiness. It is well said that joy is doubled and sorrow is halved if we share them with someone. But friendship can also prove to be bad as friends can have a negative impact also. Children develop vices in each other’s company. Sometimes peer pressure also leads to some bad habits. Children must realize the importance of learning from each other, they should make use of their time in a productive way. They can encourage each other and can be supportive. I request you to publish this letter in your newspaper so that children learn how to make friendship positive and productive and in turn how to stay away from the negative impact of friends.

Thanking You

Yours sincerely

Subject: Increase in the amount of stress faced by the students

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw your attention toward the stress faced by the students appearing for exams and peering in exam the aftermath of it.

As these activities are common every year in a student's life before appearing for an exam, The stress level also pushes them down to extreme measures such as self-harm and unfortunately they peer even fail, and then suicide. Usually, high expectations from the family lead to constant nagging about perfection and comparison which the other people. If the marks are not as high as expected it pushes the student into depression and anxiety.

The people around the student should know more and should stop "Expecting" and should start "Encouraging". The student must be always reminded that no matter what the result is he/she should always put in all of their efforts. Encouraging talks between the family and no comparison with the neighbor's son will eventually lead to a calm mind of the candidate appearing for the exam and he/she then has hopes of scoring better.

I hope that this problem will be bought into notice an article regarding this topic will be published in your newspaper.
