Hey! I wish you a very happy children's day. I hope you are in the pink of health. Today we had grand celebration for children's day at school.

Our teachers had put up a cultural programme for us. It included a play, songs, dances, recitation and an overwhelming speech. We enjoyed the show to the fullest. The entire school was decorated with ribbons and balloon and we hardly dud any studies that day. At the end of the day we were given gift packets and all of us were very happy. The teachers played games with us in the classroom and we shared stories from our lives and cracked jokes.

The entire day was very well spent. How did your school celebrate? Convey my regards to your parents and lots of love for you.

Dear XYZ,

How are you? Everything is well at my end and hope the same with you. In this letter, I wanted to tell you about children's day celebrations at my school. In my school, it is celebrated on 13th November because there is a holiday on 14th. On this day all the students are asked to come in the dresses of their choice. Lots of functions like dances, songs and skits are performed on this day. We get sweets and gifts on this day. We all enjoy a lot on this day.
