Dear kumar,
The reason why I haven’t written to you for so long is that I was busy preparing for School Sport day which was held on 23rd of this month.
On this occasion, our school building and surroundings were nicely decorated with flowers, colour-papers. The first session of the day began at 8 a.m. The local MP Sarah Begum Kabari attended the ceremony as chief guest. At first the players paraded the ground and the chief guest took the salute. Then the scout leader of our school lit the Olympic torch.
The sports began at 10 a.m. The selected events of the day were high jump, long jump, hundred metres race, skipping, chair-sitting, discuss-throwing, relay race .I took part in three events and came first in the long jump.The games came to an end at 4 p.m. In the last session, the chief guest distributed the prizes among the winners. Truly speaking, I enjoyed all the day but I missed you all the time.
