Dear kit,
I know you must be impatiently waiting to get a letter from me. Because, it's been quite a long since i've written something to you. Hope you know today is my birthday and i'm desperate to have you here with us. Since our family moved from Seattle, i couldn't be there for you. Anyway, i'm writing this letter to let you know how auspicious this day is for me. Dad bought me a new laptop, as you may know my old one was sheer embarrassment. The only thing i'm missing is the pep talk we used to have all day.
On the other hand, the weather is so unstable. The scorching heat nearly melted all the good in me. Just kidding. I got to work on some stuff and later my laptop will be good to go. I will mail you as soon as the laptop is fully usable. Missing you way more than you could imagine.
