Trust this letter finds your parents and you doing good. I hope you are enjoying your classes.
I am writing this to you to tell you about an interesting scheme called Badiki Vastha introduced by our State Government exclusively for girl students of IX standard studying in Andhra Pradesh. We had a programme regarding this in our school and the local MLA told us about this.
IX standard girls of government, government aided and municipal states are entitled to receive free bicycles from the Government. I have enrolled myself for the same and am likely to get my bicycle the next month. I am looking forward to it.
The Government has introduced this scheme to motivate girl students continue their studies. Unfortunately, our Andhra Pradesh has been recorded as the state to have the maximum number of girls stopping their studies part way. This scheme is intended to discourage such measures.
