Letter to friend on how i spent my summer vacation

Dear Hemant
Before we again get busy with the schedule of school and endless, homework, projects and tests, I thought of writing this letter to ou to describe that I had a wonderful summer vacation. I hope you must have utilized your time fruitfully.
As soon as the vacation started, my father had planned a trip to Kerala and on the night of sixteenth May only we left for Kerala. Within a few hours, we were in Kerala and the time spent there was awesome. The backwaters, staying in the boats and south Indian food, everything was enjoyable. It seemed that ten days went off in the wink of any eye and we were back in Delhi.
The second phase began with the community project that we had got in Social Science and I took help of my cousin Yogesh, you did meet him last time when you were here, who saw it to completion. Alongside, I also enrolled myself in swimming classes and now I am a full-fledged swimmer. Next time you come to Delhi, we will have a race and see who is faster.
I also devoted some time to my passion, i.e. music and have learned guitar pretty well, though not perfectly. I plan to continue my guitar classes even after the school opens. Till now I have finished the revision of all the subjects also as immediately after the school opens, we have periodic exams beginning from fourth of July.
How has your vacation been? Do write me and tell me if you thoroughly enjoyed and made the best of your vacation. Hoping to hear from you soon. Also, please give my greeting to uncle and aunt.
