Dear Sushant:
I hope this letter finds you in festive spirits. I am also enjoying the Diwali break. The entire family is busy shopping, decorating the house, and in the Diwali celebration preparation. This year the Green and Clean Diwali campaign is in full swing; so I have decided to celebrate Diwali in eco-friendly manner. I have decided that I will not let off any crackers. I have also appealed to my brothers, sisters, cousins and friends not to explode any crackers.
The pollution levels in metropolitan cities have arisen alarmingly, posing serious health hazards to people. Celebrating clean Diwali has become the need of the hour. We don’t have any second option. We can decorate our houses more with lights in order to have more light. We may have some laser-light display like crackers too. This Diwali I am also going to look after my health. I won’t eat any adulterated sweets. I will eat only home-made sweets. I hope you must also have celebrated Diwali in clean and green manner. I wish you a healthy, happy, and prosperous Diwali. Warm regards to uncle and aunt.
