Dear mother,
I hope this letter finds you in sound health and vibrant spirits. I have written you this letter to tell you about the sports day celebration in our school.
Our school, ABC public school observed its sports day on 15th and 16th December 2018. It was the perfect time for the event as the sun shone brightly in the winters. The first day was conducted for the primary classes and the second day was conducted for secondary and Sr. Secondary classes. In this event, we had many sports like hop-skip-jump, tennis, basketball, race, relay, high jump and so forth. Further, the event was also organized separately for parents and teachers. The event began at 9 AM and children were in full enthusiasm. First held the 100-meter race and children participated actively. As the race began the crowd applauded and started cheering up their favorite ones. Then began the shotput and relay race for parents. The winners were rewarded with certificate and trophy. Everyone cheered up for the winners and at the end of the event, our principal gave the closing speech. It was a fun filled day.
