This is to inform you that we, the residents of LakeTown have been facing extreme form of noise pollution during the Durga puja, especially when the idol immersion took place.

Along with the sound of the firecrackers, there were also some high volume microphone and loudspeakers which created an extreme form of nuisance in and around the area.

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me to write a column through your esteemed municipality and I would request you to kindly take some necessary steps in this direction.
