Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a student of Class 8 of your prestigious school and I would like to put forward a request on behalf of our class for proper arrangement of regular yoga classes in our school. This has been a popular demand by many of us for some time now.
The practice of Yoga, which has roots in ancient India, has become a global phenomenon in recent times with even people from abroad appreciating and adopting yoga in their life for healthy living. This is quite evident when 21st June was unanimously declared as International Yoga Day by the UNGA (United Nations General Assembly) in 2015 as suggested by honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
A healthy body is a perfect nurturing ground for a healthy mind and vice versa. Yoga provides and promotes a way of living that aims towards a perfect combination of the two in a spiritual manner. Keeping in mind the numerous benefits of yoga, I formally request you, on behalf of my class, to make arrangement for regular yoga classes in our school for the students. We would be highly grateful for the consideration.
